Free cooling
Illustrated Guide to Mechanical Cooling (BG 1/2010), written by Kevin Pennycook and published by BSRIA in 2010, defines free cooling as: ‘Cooling that can be obtained without operating chillers, for example by using outside air directly when it is at a low enough temperature.’
